Looks and functions exactly like in the photos. It is a very good budget camera. The quality during the daytime and night time is fairly decent, not great but not bad either. You can attach the camera to a wall or sit it on top of a shelf. The app is straight forward and easy to use. I haven’t had any problems with it thus far.

Someone did mention that there are privacy concerns regarding China spying on us thru the camera. Unfortunately nowadays, all cameras produced in China have to share their info with the State company. Plus cameras and phones made in USA are all monitored/spy by homeland security. So you can’t really escape it either way.

This webcam requires the use of the Tris app on your phone. The Tris app that is required on your phone or tablet/iPad says it doesn’t collect any data. But Tris app’s privacy agreement says it collects lots of data and will “Respond to the requirements of public agencies and government authorities, including those outside the country/region where you live Institutions and government authorities”. I don’t want to use with the app because I don’t want to send my home video feed to any government.

If I could configure and use this webcam at home without the app, and connect to a local computer via a web browser, then I would rate this much higher.

Very clear and sound is great.

This is a pretty good home camera. The image is decent quality both in daytime and nighttime. Requires an app to download, once done the setup is very easy and straightforward. Also includes a brick for the cord, which is rare these days, plug is USB C, very easy to replace if needed. Provides notification of motion alert, and can record events to either SD card or cloud subscription. The camera can be positioned higher or lower on the angled bracket, but if won’t stay set and will collapse on itself, that’s why i took away a star. Otherwise pretty good, especially given the price point.
