I bought my first camera over 2 years ago. I was so impressed that I purchased a second camera and highly recommended to my friends prior. Sadly after 2 years the camera stopped working. Customer service is only available via Email and response is 24 hours later. I was told that it’s out of warranty and offered a discount price to purchase a new one. I did purchase a newer model and now both of my cameras fail to connect. Previously I was a fan, now I wouldn’t buy one if it was free . I will update my review if and when I speak with customer service
Update 9/6/2023 I’m a believer again! Customer service sent me a brand new updated camera. Both of my cameras are fully functional. Couldn’t be happier

I think this was a great purchase! I have property outside the city that needs to be kept watch on and this security camera serves its purpose.

It has solar charging, its own memory chip, it messages me that there is motion detected, and if it can be sure it’s a vehicle or if it’s a person, it will notify that message to you. You can live view and move the camera around from your cell phone.

WHAT YOU NEED:
1.) CELLULAR SIM CARD
You do need to purchase a cellular data plan from a cell phone carrier and the SIM card. I got mine from T-Mobile. $15 dollar plan with 2 gigs seems good enough for the security camera this far (price may vary depending when you read this review). If you do auto pay you save $5 a month!! DEAL!!

2.) 24 Hr surveillance warning signs with no trespassing and whatever else message you want on it. This will HELP (not guarantee) to deter trespassers. Better something then nothing. ( I learned the hard way for this)

DO NOT GET: Security Camera Plan from T-Mobile. It is not necessary and DID NOT WORK with this camera. The cellular plan is what you need. My trial and error. Wisdom gained and passed on to you. Your welcome! Lol.

Enjoy this security camera. I sure am. Probably Great for camping and watching your camp site or if your too far away from Wi-Fi like the front gate or driveway of your home and it’s too far to connect a WiFi camera. Good Luck & have fun!

I like the camera system. The night vision is good quality. It’s easy to set up. Had it now for 3 months all is working fine.
I just bought a 2nd one .
Maybe a 3rd one soon.

Update. Having constant problems with this camera. Changing rating to a 1. Over the past 6 months I have been fighting to keep this thing working almost weekly. Requires resetting the unit every time. Sometimes working, sometimes not. Solar panel was keeping a 90% to 100% charge but recently camera stopped working completely. Tried charging with USB but orange and red lights flash alternately. Looks like the battery is toast after about 7 months. I won’t be ordering any more of this brand.

Generally this is a very nice security camera with great features. The video quality is excellent and the ability to remotely move the lens position is awesome. However I am having some problems that make this camera somewhat annoying.

First the ability to control this camera through the app is spotty. I am showing a 4 bar signal strength but am getting connection errors most of the time. Live watching is impossible. Adjustment of the camera angle is very difficult. Maybe if you are in an area with a 5 bar signal it might work better.

Second I hate the PIR motion sensing. It supposed to be better than the older trail cam sensing technology about not triggering on trees moving, bugs, etc. The range supposed to be 10 meters but it has trouble triggering even at 5 meters. It says in the instructions that it triggers on people and cars. It triggers most of the time on people but rarely triggers on cars at any distance. I have the sensitivity level up all the way now at 100% and do get false triggering now, but it still does not trigger on the cars very often. I wish it used the older technology. At least I would be able to get the cars coming by.

This device has good potential if they can fix the PIR motion detection
