It is bigger than the competing models such as the ones from BeeLink, but I was still surprised by the small size and light weight(smaller than the span of my hand). Runs quiet even under load.
I was surprised by the internal specs due to the product page being chock full of outdated information:
The RAM is a single stick of 3200mhz CL22. One the fastest you can get for a SODIMM stick!
SSD is NVMe instead of SATA although the speed is barely faster than SATA.
N100 CPU-Z benchmark scores are typical. AV1 support for chip is great for watching movies/videos and streaming games from streaming services or from your own more powerful gaming PC. Although this just a feature of this chip and not this particular mini PC.
Bios is full settings, although there was no way to search for any. The setting I was looking for was Wake on LAN and I couldn’t find it but it’s not a big deal for such a low power device to leave it on all the time.
Resizeable BAR is enabled by default in the bios, might help with an eGPU but I don’t have one test with. Also there’s no thunderbolt port even though it appears to be supported in the motherboard.
Power adapter is slightly bigger than a typical router adapter and supplies 12V 3A or 36W, which is sufficient for this mini PC under full load, but might cut it close if many unpowered USB devices are plugged in. I’ve tried it and daisy chained USB hubs two hubs deep don’t work and it will refuse to boot if you power it on with daisy chained hubs plugged in. I’ve seen reviews of other Mini PC listings gimping on the power supply and only providing a 12V 2A adapter.
Unlike smaller mini PCs, the RAM is not soldered and can be upgraded and also for dual channel support which should help with gaming iGPU performance.
Also you get a clean Windows 11 install with no malware or OEM bloatware of any kind!
Ram should be upgradable to 16GB but unfortunately the N100 CPU only supports single channel.
Overall I’m very impressed and happy with my purchase.
