The camera functions are great. Here’s the problem: I bought the 2-camera pack. I also bought 2 San Disk class 10 UHS-1 128GB cards.
After installing the cards, I followed instructions to set up recording. The app says first it needs to format them. Great, do it. Completed, ready to go.
After a day or two, look at the video recording.
The app says, whoa, first we need to format the cards!
This continued a couple times.
I submitted a trouble report. Joem got back to me very quickly. I sent all the specs of my cameras and cards.
After a couple exchanges, it’ll be escalated to developers. Last I heard. Over 3 months I sent in trouble tickets weekly, asking for updates. Silence.
So today, after the 90-day warranty has expired, I hit the “chat with us” button and got Ernan. Ernan looks up my case number and tells me that the developers say I need a specific version of the San Disk card (extreme) not the ones I bought.
See, here’s the thing: specifications are there for a reason. A class 10 San Disk UHS-1 card was what I bought. It’s what Ernan said I needed until a specific card was then trotted out…
So I say, hey I’m not buying a different card and have it not work also…
So Ernan says I hope you understand, but cards wear out and you maybe have bad ones. Brand new San Disk… So the problem is mine, not theirs.
Also, I got no response on why the email quit during the warranty period, and now I’m supposed to be understanding of their faulty product?
I regret wasting my money on these. This is the first negative review I’ve ever given. I hope they get better developers or learn to package working micro SD cards or maybe just go out of business.
Really frustrating.
