As long as you don't intend to do any serious gaming, the AMIAMO 15.6" Laptop should be more than up to the task. It has a zippy processor, 16 GB RAM, a sizeable 512GB SSD, a lovely screen, and an ergonomic keyboard. It has adequate ports, a big trackpad, fair battery life, and a decent (if not stellar) build quality. It's easily portable and even comes with a small but adequate manual in multiple languages. What you get for the current 58% off price point is a lot, but I don't think this would be worth the retail list price. The keyboard isn't lit, construction feels a touch flimsy, and the speaker is tinny and anemic.For what you get at the sale price, this could be nearly a 5-star unit. Bought this laptop for my 12 year olds son birthday. He is in love with it and its easy to use. He just started middle school so it works great for all his homework needs.

I loved that this computer is easy to use and that my son is going to love it when he receives it for Christmas. This is the only thing that he asked for and I cannot wait to see his face when he opens it in about a month. I also love that it didn’t break the bank for me and that I still have money left over from my budget.

An hour and a half later, I am getting “low battery”, alerts. All that I have been doing is browsing the web. No videos, no streaming music or movies. I’m not impressed. Also, the laptop feels flimsy. It has a very cheap feel to it. The speakers are so bad they are basically unusable.
Update. 1 week later and the battery only lasts about 20 minutes.

I am happy that I can run multiple tabs and programs without having a delay. It came the next day and they offered a generous sale at the time of purchase. The only complaint I have is that I can’t blow up images on screen using fingers. I didn’t realize it wasn’t a touch screen, no fault of theirs.
We were looking for a second laptop that had a good size screen, SSD, and lightweight. We have had this for about a month now and it is working great, starts up and processes quickly, we mostly use it for web browsing, shopping, and email. The only thing that we have noticed is the battery does not last as long as our other laptop (it is thinner, so might not be as big of a battery), and we do end up plugging it in more often. Great laptop for the price, we are pleased with the purchase!
