High quality materials and breeze to setup. These IP cameras work with just about any surveillance software. I’ve used them with BlueIris, Frigate, Shinobi, Zoneminder and the Amcrest software. Connects right away and picks up an IP. Good image quality at day and night. Highly recommend. I’ve since gotten a few more of these. Amcrest is my go-to now for high quality affordable IP cameras.

For too many home camera set ups, there’s always a downside. Either it’s made by some company you don’t know and you can’t trust their apps. Or the interface is hard to use and it never gets set up the way you want. Or the quality of the image is inconsistent.

These Amcrest cameras have none of those problems.
Amcrest is a reputable name in home camera systems. There are apps available for free to manage your cameras, and it doesn’t take anything more than a QR code to enroll them.
The interfaces are similar to many other cameras but are a little easier to use.
The quality I’m getting from these cameras is amazing compared to the cameras I’m coming from.

I’ve hooked these cameras up to my Blue Iris instance so I can manage them from the web interface, or the app, or Blue Iris. Enrollment was pretty easy once recongized.

These are good cameras. I set them up using POE, even though they mention that there’s other ways to set them up in the instructions. I haven’t tried those other methods though to give advice on them. They have night vision infrared, and one thing to know is that they are not this style of camera where you can move the direction it’s looking from an app or anything like that. You can rotate the direction it’s facing similar to that manually and then tighten it to lock it in place but it is not one that you can control from the app and move around. That was what I was under the impression it was upon first seeing this product. High quality picture though and comes with two of them plus all the hardware you need to assemble this although I’d recommend a drill to screw the base mounting plate still. A little pricey in my opinion but the overall features of the camera are up to par with expectations. The way I set it up using POE I can detect the camera on my network as such and there are a plethora of third party apps designed to find POE cameras on your network and display the various camera angles on a dashboard screen similar to a DVR camera system. Doing this using POE has made it possible to use different brands of cameras but have them all working together and on the same screen as if they were a single unit

These are a nice pair of security cameras that do well even integrating onto an existing system. They are PoE so no need to be plugged directly into an outlet, but it does need to be plugged into a switch or an NVR (either Amcrest or another brand NVR). I like that these cams are 20fps which is a bit better than standard so quick movement will be a bit clearer than your standard camera. The cameras have dual illumination night vision which is a nice feature. It also has your standard features like human detection etc. but I have found that these aren’t the most accurate through experiencing a variety of brands. Amcrest does offer a subscription service through cloud if you so choose, but I have just used my existing NVR. Overall, these offer a wide angled view, good picture quality, and a higher fps than average.

Easy to use. Easy to set up. Easy to recommend. These were so easy to integrate into my existing camera set up and they are on par with my current system. Great quality images both during the day and during the night. I have these set up in my front yard and they make me feel so much safer in my neighborhood.

I liked having these more discreet cameras to tuck into corners (we’ve got every corner of this house covered!). I used the longer shaped ones the rest of the way around the house, but these were perfect for porch and patio.

Hooked up and recognized on DVR with zero issues.

These 5Mega Pixel, Power over Ethernet IP Cameras are housed in a turret dome. The lens of the cameras is extra wide, giving a clear view of a room or area.

I tested these cameras with the Amcrest Surveillance Pro software that enables a computer to be used as an NVR or to stream and view the cameras in real-time directly. The mobile app also allows remote access to the IP cameras. The IP5M-T1277EB-AI Amcrest camera has AI detection for different scenarios and exceptional night vision recording capabilities.

The camera angle can be manually adjusted, and then a special star or hex screw tightens to hold the position firm. The camera comes with a metal bit that you use to unlock the turret to angle it properly.

While testing these cameras, the metal rod broke from three different packages. Luckily, I have four of these cameras, so the last bit secured the camera. I recommend using your own screwdriver bits if you have the right size because the tool included is very brittle and snaps.

The cameras are durable and feature-rich, making this 2-pack an excellent deal if you want the best buy Amcrest.

Camera does not move. Requires 12 volt power supply or special ethernet setup with power (POE+?) – neither included.

I couldn’t test it because it needs a 12 volt power supply (not included and none of the ones I could find worked).

I messed up and got these because I thought you could move the camera remotely. I misunderstood when it said wired as I thought that meant that you had to have them connected to a power wire or something.

Require ethernet connection to the internet and special ethernet with power or a 12 volt power supply (neither included).

They may be wonderful cameras for the specific application but note that they do not move, require ethernet cable, and require special power or powered Ethernet (neither provided).
