It took me several days to set up the tablet. For the first few days it wouldn’t connect to my Verizon home 5g wifi at all. Then, for some reason it finally figured it out, and started connecting. Now, my wifi will lose connection sometimes ever-so-briefly, that none of my other devices have problems, but I’ve watched it on my chromebook, where the connection dies, and it reconnects, or the signal strength goes down low, then back up to full…It has never been a problem with multiple chromebooks, or my iphone. This device though, after it loses that connection briefly, it stays connected, but tells me there’s “no internet”. I have to manually disconnect, and reconnect to my network. Because of this, doing any updates took several tries. I finally got it updated, and set up with my account, and it works fine. I’m not familiar with the android tablet OS, so I don’t know how this runs compared to other things, but it’s intuitive, and works fine. The display has a great resolution, and the pictures look great on it. Sadly, with the internet disconnecting too often, it’s practically unusable for me.
I haven’t really tested the battery life, as I haven’t been able to use it constantly, but it seems to be alright, for the price point.
The extras are nice, the case/cover is nice, the screen cover can be folded back behind the device, so it sits on a table in a viewable position. The keyboard and mouse are rather cheap feeling, but serviceable, and great additions for a budget tablet.
